3D animation & storytelling

Hours in an editor. Timelines, keyframes, exports. A whole day one video.

Here, you describe it. Effects, 3D, motion graphics, voice minutes, every style.

For Creators & Product Owners

One studio serves both sides of the desk. Creators edit podcast clips, reels, tutorials and recap videos by describing the look — text behind the speaker, spotlights, captions and voiceover land on real footage. Product teams ship demo videos, launch videos and changelog updates that stay editable as projects and re-render from CI. Same agent, same templates, unlimited local renders.

FAQ

What is CoAnimator?

CoAnimator is the agentic animation studio where AI agents build and edit videos for you. Describe the video you want, whether a product demo, launch video, or tutorial, and an agent like Claude Code, Codex, or Antigravity writes the animation, timeline, and narration as plain editable files while you watch the stage update live. Editing real footage works the same way. You describe the look, and effects, captions, and overlays land on your recording. Everything renders to MP4 on your machine — macOS, Windows and Linux — with unlimited local renders.

Who can build videos with CoAnimator?

Anyone who can describe what they want. If you already use an agent like Claude Code, Codex, or Antigravity, point it at CoAnimator and you can build professional product videos with no editing skills. The agent does more than cut scenes. It researches your product, helps write the script, and explains the technical parts as it works, so you are never starting from a blank timeline. Connecting one is a setting, not a migration.

Which AI agents work with CoAnimator?

Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, and other AI agents you already use. CoAnimator is agentic rather than tied to one vendor: templates ship with skills that teach the agent each video format, so the same project works whichever agent you point at it. There’s no proprietary prompt box — you use the agent and subscription you already have.

Do I need to know how to code to use CoAnimator?

No. You describe the video in plain language and the AI agent writes the code — the animation, the timeline, the timing. The stage shows the result as it takes shape, so your job is direction, not programming. If you can code, the whole project stays open and editable whenever you want hands-on control.

Does CoAnimator use credits or add a watermark?

No credits, ever. Most AI video tools meter output in monthly credits; CoAnimator renders on your own hardware, so there is nothing to meter and rendering is unlimited on every plan. There is a watermark on the free tier — a “Made with CoAnimator” stamp, with export capped at 720p — and a one-off licence removes it and unlocks 4K. What you never buy back is your own output: no credit pool, no per-export fee.

Where does rendering happen — is my footage uploaded?

Today rendering is 100% local: export runs a chunk-parallel pipeline on your machine and produces an MP4, with unlimited local exports and no requirement to upload your footage. A headless coa CLI can run the same renders from scripts. Fully deployed workers and agents are coming too, for teams that want renders and builds running off their own machine — local stays unlimited either way.

What kinds of videos can CoAnimator make?

Product demo videos, launch videos, tutorials, changelog videos, and podcast edits, in a range of styles: motion graphics and kinetic type, effects layered over real footage, narrated explainer scenes, low-poly WebGL 3D, and hand-drawn or ASCII looks. Because the engine is the open web platform, if a browser can draw it, an agent can animate it.

Isn’t this just AI-generated fluff?

No, and it’s a fair question. Plenty of tools take a prompt and hand you a clip you can’t change. CoAnimator is an animation studio. You bring your product and your real recordings. Agents handle the research, the script drafts, and the slow editor work, and every scene stays open for you to review and change. Generators like Google Veo and HeyGen will plug in too, but as tools inside your project, the way stock footage would, never as the product. The taste and the final call stay with you. It’s built for humans making professional videos faster, not for AI fluff.

Does CoAnimator run on Windows and Mac?

Yes — CoAnimator is a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux. Projects are plain files on disk, and the coa command-line renderer works headlessly for scripted exports on every platform.

Can CoAnimator generate voiceovers?

Yes, with the built-in TTS voiceover plugin. Narration is generated into the project and placed on the timeline like any other audio clip, so the agent can time animation beats to the voice track and you can regenerate lines as the script changes.

Can I export Lottie files from CoAnimator?

Not yet — Lottie export is on the public roadmap but hasn’t shipped. Today CoAnimator renders finished MP4 video. If Lottie or other export formats matter to your workflow, the roadmap is shaped by what users ask for.

Is CoAnimator available now?

CoAnimator ships as a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux — download it and it runs locally, with unlimited rendering on every plan. Free exports are 720p with a watermark; a one-off licence unlocks 4K and clean exports.
